Our instructor, Russell Alvey, Sensei has trained in and taught Aikido for over 20 years and currently holds the rank of Yondan (4th-degree black belt). He is a student of Patricia Hendricks, Sensei who was herself a long-time student of the late Shihan Morihiro Saito, keeper of the Aiki Shrine in Iwama, Japan.
