With over 25 years on the mat, Our instructor, Russell Alvey, Sensei has dedicated himself to full-time Aikido instruction and currently holds the rank of Yondan (4th-degree black belt). He is a student of Patricia Hendricks, Sensei who was herself a long-time student of the late Shihan Morihiro Saito, keeper of the Aiki Shrine in Iwama, Japan.
